2008 Grandparents Day Mass and Reception

The annual Grandparents Day Mass and Reception was held in the Field House at Cretin-Derham Hall on May 8, 2008. Sponsored by the CDH Parents' Association, this annual event is always popular; this year more than 1000 students, grandparents and loved ones were in attendance. P1010111

Vocation Awareness Day

Cretin-Derham Hall hosted the annual Vocation Awareness Day on January 11, 2008. Sisters, Brothers, priests, lay missionaries and seminarians shared their stories of God's special invitation to religious life with students and staff. Rabbi Michael Cook Makes Presentation at CDH

On October 26, Rabbi Dr. Michael Cook presented "How Jesus Was Jewish" to CDH students, staff and faculty, a history-making event as this was the first time a rabbi scholar with authority in New Testament Studies has addressed a Catholic high school. This event was made possible through the generosity of the Jay Phillips Center for Jewish-Christian Learning at St. John's University and the University of St. Thomas. Rabbicook

Coadjutor Archbishop Nienstedt Celebrates Mass at CDH

Coadjutor Archbishop John C. Nienstedt celebrated Mass at Cretin-Derham Hall on October 9, 2007. Following Mass, he visited a freshman classroom where he entertained questions from the students.
