Maryah Tift Day at CDH and the City of St. Paul

Thursday, May 7, 2009, was declared Maryah Tift Day at Cretin-Derham Hall and in the City of St. Paul by proclamation of Mayor Chris Coleman '79. Maryah, a CDH ninth grader and daughter of Zak Tift '94 and Rachel Emerson Perez '84, has been battling cancer for many years and has met the challenge with tremendous courage and faith. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Also on hand was Jenny Haigh '91 who is also battling cancer. Jenny was there to lend Maryah her support and encouragement.
