An Evening with the Astronaut

Astronaut Heide Stefanyshyn-Piper ’80 made a presentation to students and staff at Cretin-Derham Hall on May 1, 2009. Stefanyshyn-Piper, who returned from her most recent mission to space in November, 2008, was the first female NASA astronaut to head a mission repair team. On the eve of her visit to CDH, she dined with several members of the CDH community at an event dubbed “An Evening with the Astronaut.” Heide is pictured with Helen (center) and Mike Esch '54.
