Astronaut Heide Stefanyshyn-Piper ’80 made a presentation to
students and staff at Cretin-Derham Hall on May 1, 2009. Stefanyshyn-Piper, who returned from her
most recent mission to space in November, 2008, was the first female NASA
astronaut to head a mission repair team. On the eve of her visit to CDH, she
dined with several members of the CDH community at an event dubbed “An Evening
